2025 Convention

The 2025 AKBLG Convention and AGM was held in Kimberley between Friday, April 25th – Sunday, April 27th at the Kimberley Conference Centre at the Kimberley Alpine Resort.
The 2025 convention theme was Strengthening Our Foundations
‘Foundation’ is multifaceted, encompassing everything from the literal, structural elements of our built and natural environments, to the core values and relationships that shape one’s ethos. Similarly, strengthening can take many forms depending on the circumstances – whether it’s through renewal and revitalization, making strategic investments, or simply pausing to reflect and reassess.
It is the Organizing Committee’s hope that the 2025 theme will provoke collective thought, discussion, and action within those attending.
This year’s Convention Planning Committee consists of:
