2026 AGM & Convention
The deadline for advance nomination submissions is April 1, 2026. Submissions are accepted by email at admin@akblg.ca.
The Association of Kootenay & Boundary Local Governments (AKBLG) serves as the collective voice for local governments in the Kootenay and Boundary regions, including the Village of Valemount and the Town of Golden.
During the Annual General Meeting, the membership elects Directors to the Executive, who are responsible for ensuring that the bylaw directions set by the general membership are carried forward. The Executive also provides operational and policy direction to the AKBLG between AGMs.
