The 2026 AKBLG Convention in Trail, BC will be our last gathering of this Local Government term, with just six months remaining before local elections in October 2026. Inspired by the ‘transition memo’ — the thoughtful handoff of knowledge and priorities — this year’s theme invites us to reflect on what can still be accomplished in this term, and how we can set the stage for the Councils and Boards that follow.
