2025 AGM and Convention
The 92nd Annual AKBLG Convention will be held at the Kimberley Convention Centre from April 25th to April 27th, 2025. The City of Kimberley will be our host and we thank them for supporting the Association. The theme for this year’s convention is “Strengthening our Foundations”.
Other Events
AKBLG hosts other events such as Educational and Professional Development seminars as issues are identified.

AKBLG Preconvention Education Workshop focusing on Infrastructure

Focused on infrastructure, this day long session will cover a wide range of topics such as effective Communication for Elected Officials (related to rising infrastructure costs), managing risk related to aging infrastructure and how climate change impacts cost of infrastructure.
